Holding an LL.M. in Sports Law and serving as the Vice President of Gridiron South Africa, Nick is well-positioned to comment on the intersection of professional studies and personal passion. Nick co-authored the Articles Survival Guide for Law to offer down-to-earth, experience-based guidance to candidate attorneys and advocates who are ready to take control of their training and build a strong, values-driven legal career.
Advocate Waseem A. Bava is driven by sharp legal insight, a passion for justice, and a deep commitment to mentorship. Having completed his articles at a leading Johannesburg law firm before undergoing pupillage through the Johannesburg Society of Advocates, Waseem understands the intensity and expectations of South Africa’s legal training system for both attorneys and advocates. Alongside his academic background, which includes a BA in Law and International Relations, an LLB from Wits, and advanced arbitration training through AFSA, he has built a diverse practice across commercial, construction, administrative, and sports law.
